A rare and beautiful cane-type Begonia, with snowy spots peppering their leaves, becoming more dense towards the edges forming white ‘caps’. From Spring through Autumn, they can produce trailing stems of bright red flowers. An absolute must for Begonia lovers.
Snowcap enjoys warm temperatures, always above 12’C but preferably above 18’C to promote growth through winter. Keep somewhere as bright as possible, whilst avoiding direct sun. Supplemental grow lights may be necessary in the winter to keep them looking their best! Keep the soil evenly moist and ‘airy’ at all times; add perlite at around 30% of the mix to help aid soil aeration and water absorption, and to avoid waterlogging.
