Description
Codiaeum, or ‘Croton’, are some of the most colourful and vibrant houseplants, with multiple surprising varieties now available. ‘Petra’ is the absolute classic Croton, with red, yellow and deep green hues along prominent veins across its leaves.
They’re very easy to care for, thriving in bright indirect light and moist soil – allow it to dry out between waterings. Temperatures in the home should be fine year-round (above 16’C). As with most houseplants, you do not want it to sit in saturated soil, so if you’re repotting, be sure to use a well-draining mix.
