Often described as ‘unkillable’, snake plants make great additions to the collection for both newbies and experienced growers. If you’ve been burned by your plants in the past, Sansevieria are a good place to start! This rare ‘Golden Flame’ variety has an incredibly bright yellow centre, resembling a flame or campfire.
These are very easy to care for, thriving in bright indirect light but tolerating almost all light levels – allow the soil to dry out for several weeks between waterings. Temperatures in the home should be fine year round (above 12’C). As with most houseplants, you do not want it to sit in saturated soil, so if you’re repotting, be sure to use a well-draining mix.
